Training

Think of CPOA first for your training needs

CPOA provides relevant and up-to-date training to the law enforcement, legal and public safety professions. CPOA presents a broad spectrum of training courses throughout the state of California most of which are POST certified and many of which are also approved by the State Bar of California for Minimum Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) hours.

Training presentations conducted by CPOA are not public seminars and are not open to the general public for enrollment. CPOA seminars are designed for the purpose of providing training to peace officers and civilian personnel associated with public safety agencies. Proof of association with a public safety agency may be required for admission to seminars based upon subject matter.

Below is a list of training courses that CPOA sponsors. If you would like to host a presentation click here. Staff is in the process of scheduling presentations for the 2011-2012 year, presentations will start in September. Check the CPOA online calendar or print out the calendar to hang in your department to find a presentation in your area.
