Certificate of Appreciation
Purpose

The Certificate of Appreciation is presented to an individual outside of the law enforcement profession. This award is presented for an action or service committed by an individual or business which enhances the image of the California Peace Officers’ Association and/or the law enforcement profession.

Eligibility

Any individual or organization that meets the above description.

Nomination

Nominations may be made by any member of CPOA.  Online submissions are encouraged, however a written document supporting the nomination may be faxed, mailed or sent electronically to cpoa@cpoa.org, to be received in the CPOA office by July 30th.

Approval Process

Final review and approval is determined by the Awards Committee. Questions or clarifications may be requested from local region boards and/or the submitting agency.
